2022 Fiscal Yr: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022

Thanks for supporting the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. In fiscal 12 months 2022, 1000’s of contributors and donors supplied greater than 70% of our annual earnings, a complete of $30.8 million that expands our capability to advertise international conservation thru analysis, schooling, and citizen science.

Because it used to be for many of us and organizations, fiscal 12 months 2022 used to be once more abnormal for the Lab: we noticed an building up in charitable giving, blended with a minimum building up in bills (partially pushed by means of a decent hard work marketplace and endured aid in trip because of the pandemic).

Because of this, the Lab ended the 12 months with an unusual surplus of finances. As we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, this surplus will let us develop in strategic techniques as briefly as imaginable in fiscal 12 months 2023 and past, specifically for the reason that the threats going through birds and biodiversity are fast and critical.
